| Thank you so much for
praying for the Rick Warren visit to Korea last month. God continues
to respond to your prayer as we have asked Him for a “second
wave of revival” in our country. |

The two-day pastor’s
conference was held at the Seoul “Full Gospel” Church with more
than 20,000 pastors in attendance. A scholarship program was
initiated to assist pastors from smaller churches around the
country to participate. A local university made their dormitories
available to house the out of town pastors. |
| More than 100,000 people
flocked to the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Thursday evening July
13, to hear the message delivered by Pastor Warren and to participate
in an extended time of prayer for revival. Although the stadium
only accommodates 65,000, the overflow crowd was able to share
in the service through the large monitors located on the outside
of the venue. This event broke all previous attendance records
for the sports facility. To assist people living in Korea’s
second largest city, a short pastor’s conference was held prior
to an evangelistic rally in Busan. |

In 1973 it was my privilege
to translate for the Billy Graham crusade in Korea. I was, of
course, pleased that my son Joseph was chosen to be the translator
for Rick Warren during this conference and rally. |
