Hallelujah!
Glory to God as we celebrate 50 years of broadcasting the
gospel message to North East Asia by radio.
In the Bible, the 50th year means hope. Social reforms
such as debt forgiveness, the emancipation of slaves and
new allotment of land were only institutionalized during
the year of Jubilee. FEBC-Korea's ministry has freed many
of those who were hard-pressed spiritually and suffered
physically by giving them new lives and hope.
We are preparing various programs and events during this
year to celebrate and to express our appreciation to those
who have supported and prayed for this ministry.
The first event will be the Jeju Antenna Replacement Project
Dedication on February 19 and 20, followed by the London
Symphony Orchestra with Myung Whun Chung on March 18 and
Homecoming celebration on May 20 with a country-wide tour
by the Legacy Quartet from Colorado. In July, a seminar
with pastors and lay leaders will be held, presented by
Rev. Rick Warren (Saddleback Church). The FEBC Children's
choir festival is scheduled for August and the sacred choir
concert, which promoted unity among Korean churches, is
October 28. To conclude the celebration, a 50th Anniversary
reception will be held on December 7.
Please pray for all of these events and also as we look
forward to the next 50 years. Thank you for your unchanging
love and support.
